Description

Mamacita Foundation is seeking compassionate and dedicated Volunteer Welfare Workers to support the well-being of our volunteers. The role involves providing emotional support, ensuring volunteers have the resources they need, and promoting a positive and supportive volunteering environment.

Responsibilities:

Provide emotional support and a listening ear to volunteers.
Address any concerns or issues raised by volunteers and escalate if necessary.
Ensure volunteers are aware of and have access to necessary resources and training.
Promote a positive and inclusive volunteering environment.
Conduct regular check-ins with volunteers to monitor their well-being.
Assist with the organization of volunteer appreciation events and activities.
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with care.

Experience required: Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Empathetic and compassionate approach. Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism. Previous experience in a welfare, support, or counseling role is a plus. Reliable and committed to supporting the well-being of others. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
