Description

We need your help in the ensuring the smooth running of our busy Reception Area. Your duties will include giving a friendly greeting to members of the public, staff and visiting contractors; answering the telephone and transferring calls and general administrative duties.

Volunteering with us is always a rewarding experience! You will gain invaluable Reception experience with Scotland's leading animal welfare charity in the knowledge that you are contributing, as part of our wider team, to caring for animals across the country.

Organisation aims and objectives

The Scottish SPCA is Scotland’s animal welfare charity. We rescue animals in danger, find pets new homes, investigate abuse and prevent cruelty through our free Prevention through Education programme for Scottish schools.

Expenses details: Usually 15 miles to/from home at 45p/mile but will consider wider radius in rural areas.
Training details: You will receive a Knowledge Nest training portal account with all of your statutory training. You will be supported by our friendly team and receive a full induction before you start in your new role.
