Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is willing to work as part of a team providing high quality assistance and support to a variety of individuals including adults with learning and physical disabilities. The Volunteer Support Assistant will assist the Support Workers and other team members with the Service Programme and any other activities which make take place during operational hours

To provide a safe and secure environment which gives opportunities for individuals to learn new skills and explore relationships within a structured system of programmes.

Restrictions

No real restrictions, but volunteers require to be flexible and reliable
Experience required: We are looking for Volunteers who have knowledge and skills that can be transferable to support our service user group during their daily programme. Some examples of this would be, but not limited to music, drama, arts and crafts, local knowledge of the area, current affairs, sports, cooking, baking and exercise. Experience in social would be useful, but not essential as training is provided.

Minimum age: 18
