Based in Kirkcaldy, Nourish Support Centre provides much needed and life-changing support to families in Fife who have additional support needs. Having a child with disabilities affects the whole family and not only causes worries and anxieties, it often causes loneliness, isolation, poor mental health and poverty. Providing holistic support in a one stop shop, they know the different challenges facing families with additional support needs and they understand the importance of being able to access a wide range of emotional, practical, and financial support in one place. Nourish are looking for a board member to attend regular board meetings (typically monthly). The estimated time commitment is approximately 5-10 hours per month, including meeting preparation and follow-up. Nourish provide vital support for many in our community, our Support Centre plays an integral role to the support we provide; with this in mind we have vacancies for volunteer playroom and craft room assistants to make sure all contact with Nourish is positive, supportive and effective. The volunteering role will support our family support team and their programme of events within our playroom area. interacting with children within the space, keeping the room clean and tidy, rotating play equipment etc. There are different parttime volunteering hours available throughout the week and will be within the hours of 9:30 and 4:30 pm

It is with this in mind that we have vacancies for part time volunteer receptionists, to support and cover the reception area at our Support Centre. The role will be a wonderful opportunity to learn and apply admin and reception skills. We are holding a volunteer Taster morning on 15th March 2024 at 10:00am so come along and join us!
