We are looking for office-based volunteers to assist with evening and Saturday cover to carry out general administrative duties and liaise and communicate with our staff, volunteer counsellors and clients. -Main Duties: • Administrative Support: Assisting with general office duties including answering telephone calls, checking voicemails, filing, data entry, admitting clients to the building; ensuring cleaning protocols are adhered to. • Client Support: Provide a warm and welcoming environment for clients visiting the office, helping to manage the client waiting list; contact referrals, either by phone or email, to arrange initial meetings. • Documentation: Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring confidentiality, and compliance with data protection regulations. • Event Support: Support Cairns events and workshops by helping with organisation, logistics, registration and communication. • Collaboration: Work closely with volunteers and staff to ensure smooth operations within the office. Excellent support and relevant guidance is provided to all volunteers. There will be a formal induction and support from a supervisor and support will be provided to enhance skills and knowledge in the field of mental health and counselling services. Moray Firth Credit Union is getting ready to open its outreach service in Buckie and are looking for people who would like to be part of a team of volunteer tellers. They are also looking for a couple of people who may be to volunteer in Elgin, as the service is re-opening for one day per week, for a couple of hours. The Moray Firth Credit Union is looking for people who want to give something back to the community. (A credit union is like a community bank where we accept people's savings that then gets added to a pool of money from which members can apply for a low cost loan) The volunteer tellers are the face of the credit union, in that the teller the is responsible for the front desk, takes money, enters the transaction into the computer and gives the member a receipt for their transaction. The volunteer teller position is ideal for those who can handle money, who have a smattering of computer experience, who can exchange pleasantries and who can answer the telephone. There is enough in this volunteer position to not be boring and to not be too hard!

As a CPR Champion you will support St John Scotland as part of their partnership with Save a Life for Scotland. You will get the opportunity to attend various events within your local area with other St John Scotland CPR Champions and CPR Leads ensuring that participants are equipped to undertake potentially lifesaving bystander CPR according to current policies, regulations and protocol. You will also be trained on demonstrating defibrillator usage to participants. Main tasks: - Deliver Bystander CPR awareness to various people at different events within your local area - Defibrillator Demonstration (training is provided)
