Marie Curie was a scientist who discovered radium and polonium, contributing to finding treatments for cancer. This work continues to inspire our charity's mission to help people and their families living with a terminal illness make the most of the time they have together by delivering expert care, emotional support and research. Marie Curie care for more than 40,000 terminally ill people in the UK a year. The services we offer include providing Nursing care in people’s own home including emotional support. Across the UK we have nine hospices which provide specialist care and support, in Scotland these are located in Edinburgh and Glasgow. Our support teams help anyone affected by terminal illness, online and over the phone. Whether someone needs practical support caring for their loved one, or emotional support once they’ve died, our teams are here to help. Help to promote our Fundraising Group activities on social media and engage with their virtual communities to raise awareness of what is happening in their area. As part of this we are seeking a tactical Social Media Marketing Officer(s) to come and join our close-knit team and help get the word out about Greyhope Bay and our exciting plans for Aberdeen. Third Level Foundation CIC are a community interest company (Social Enterprise and not for profit ). We operate around the areas of Middlefield, Fersands, Cornhill/Stockethill and Tillydrone. We provide counselling and workshops to provide support to the communities in the area of Wellbeing and Mental Health. As we are developing our services we are looking for someone who can support our social media and online presence. The role is for someone interested in learning about mental health and how we operate. This is a flexible role - some work can be carried out online at home and you would be welcome to work at the Community centre areas too. You will work closely with us on the detail and direction that we want to take - and we will be very interested in your thoughts and ideas. Our work is very interesting and varied.
