Strathmore Cricket Cafe provide a high-quality cafe service. Main Duties: · To assist with the running of the Lochside Café including: - preparing light snacks, sandwiches etc. as required · Observing and complying with all relevant Health & Safety & Hygiene requirements · Meeting, greeting and serving customers · Cashing-up and the handling of cash - keeping finance records of all Café transactions · Washing-up/clearing tables and ensuring the Café seating area is kept clean and tidy · To carry out other duties that may reasonably required by the Café Supervisor This is an amazing opportunity to access training including food hygiene and adult achievement awards, so if you are looking to gain experience whilst learning this would be the perfect opportunity for you.

This opportunity will be in our community café at The Crescent in Whitfield. This will include welcoming people into the café, serving teas and coffees, basic cooking skills, adhering to strict health and hygiene rules, dealing with customers, maintaining a high level of cleanliness in the cafe space and kitchen.

The award winning Larick Centre has a beautiful community-run café on the edge of Tentsmuir Forest. It’s vibrant café serves Tayport and welcomes walkers, cyclists, centre users and locals, as well as providing catering for groups who use the centre. The cafe is open seven days a week, 10am-4pm and has indoor and outdoor seating, and take away food and drink options. The café serves hot & cold drinks, hot breakfasts, freshly made sandwiches, burgers, soup, cakes and tray bakes all with vegan, dairy and gluten free choices available. They are looking for volunteers to help for a couple of hours a week, with front of house (serving customers, taking orders, clearing tables) and/or to assist with dishwashing and general kitchen duties. Whether you have experience or are looking to gain experience in the hospitality trade or other opportunities involving the public, then this could be the position for you.
