If you have time to support a local charity, we want to hear from you! Home-Start Aberdeen are looking for enthusiastic and energetic volunteers to meet and greet customers, organise donations and take cash and card payments at our city-centre charity shop at 101 George Street Aberdeen.

In return we offer:

Organisation aims and objectives

We are one of Scotland’s largest Home-Start schemes, providing up to 180 families and 270 children with 27,500 hours of emotional and practical support in their own homes each year. Home-Start Aberdeen works with families to help them: •gain access to relevant health and welfare services •manage family budgets and nutrition •engage with their communities •enjoy family life again.

Frequency and commitment details

Flexible times available to suit volunteer.

Restrictions

Experience required: No experience necessary. The willingness to commit time and energy to Home-Start Aberdeen, with a positive attitude to meeting new people and learning new skills.
Travel details: Our shop is at 101 George Street, Aberdeen – directly across from the old John Lewis store.
Minimum age: 16
