An exciting opportunity to join a long established, user led organisation supporting people with disabilities and long term medical conditions. Based in modern premises in Bridge of Don. Alongside the admin. personnel and requests from the benefits personnel the role will include general administrative duties, filing, photocopying clients records and answering the phone. Inputting of data information from telephone sheets into computer spreadsheets. Checking of e-mails when in the office.

We raise awareness of disability issues. Provide support, information and advice and assist in completion of applications for social benefits for all persons with physical and sensory disabilities. We promote social inclusion and equality of opportunity for all.

Restrictions

Experience required: Good communication skills, pleasant telephone manner, knowledge of I.T, good office practice, non judgemental, understanding and willingness to help others.
Travel details: In our spacious, modern premises in Aberdeen Innovation Park, which are adjacent to local bus route, also has extensive parking.

Training details: Relevant training/guidance and excellent support is provided to all volunteers. Full training and introduction to the organisation, its aims and activities will be provided together with all necessary ongoing support and a regular discussion.
