Online group sessions are a great way to support and involve people during isolation. If you have your computer or even your smartphone you already have all of the tools you need to make a video, or to engage in a live video conversation with others.
The Whiteinch Centre is a community organisation that works with a diverse range of individuals in the West of Glasgow. We offer a range of educational and recreational groups for people of all ages and create an inclusive environment that strengthens positive relationships with the local community, bringing new perspectives and encouraging people from all walks of life to use our services.
A key aim of our group is to empower and support online group work through offering a sociable, friendly environment where women can gain confidence through learning new skills, meeting new people and discussing issues relevant to their lives and experience.
In this role, you will -
• Facilitate weekly group sessions for women using video and conference software
• Improve social inclusion & confidence building for women in the home
• Offer a structured activity where possible providing health tips, relaxation, creative sessions and so on.
Volunteering is a fantastic way to gain skills and experience and it couldn't be easier to get involved! This role is home-based and can take place at any time so it's really flexible to suit you.

Four Pillars is a Grampian only based LGBT+ Charity that looks after the community in relation to their mental, emotional, physical and sexual health.

Digital Helpline Volunteers are a national team of volunteers who assist our Helpline by offering support to sufferers and parents/carers/partners/friends of sufferers of eating disorders such as Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, ARFID and OSFED. Helping people of all ages and backgrounds, you will be responding to emails from service users, web chats, and facilitating our nightly online support groups. The role is remote, so you can work from the comfort of your own home

The 70/30 Campaign is aiming to reduce child abuse and neglect by 70% by 2030. As a 70/30 Ambassador you will be empowering your local community to protect our children by spreading awareness and gaining support to prevent child abuse and neglect from happening in the first place. You will gain new skills, and be part of a large network of volunteers and professionals, while making a real difference in your local community and across the UK.
The role is very flexible and depends on your skills and on the needs in your local area, but you can take part in a range of activities, such as: spreading awareness with people you know and on social media; fundraising; organising events; engaging with MPs, MSPs, AMs and councillors; engaging with local press; expanding your local 70/30 group.
Ambassadors will take part in a training session with a member of the team and are invited to join the monthly national conference call with other ambassadors across the country.
