Current opportunities

Rubislaw Park Care Home for older people provides a level of care and support to ensure residents maintain their independence and individuality. We believe that through developing an atmosphere of individual care and attention with our service users contributes to their well-being and comfort, enabling residents to enjoy life to its fullest potential. The Card Making Group is a fun and vital part of this and we currently have opportunities for volunteers to assist at the group with our residents in making cards. All equipment will be supplied and all volunteer help is greatly appreciated. A fantastic and enjoyable opportunity to help a care home setting and which will help enrich the lives of older residents. This is a very rewarding opportunity as it is very satisfying. A good cup of tea/coffee, a fine piece and good company awaits all volunteers who help us. Rubislaw Park Care Home for older people provides a level of care and support to ensure residents maintain their independence and individuality. We have a group of older residents who love to cook. By cook we mean mix, fluff, roll, spread, knead, reminisce, socialize over food. Do the things they used to do when they were younger. We are looking for volunteers to assist with this. All materials will be provided so if you have a passion for food, cooking, baking, cake decorating or just helping out you will be made very welcome to share your skills and helping residents fulfil their potential. This is a great opportunity where you will make a real difference and all help is appreciated. Good company, tea, coffee and fine pieces will be provided.
