Organisation aims and objectives

Sometimes it is really tough being a parent and a little help can make a big difference. Home-Start provides an unique service for families - recruiting and training volunteers to support parents with young children at home. The families we support may experience isolation, illness, disability, bereavement or simply find parenting a struggle. We cover the whole of the West Fife and Dunfermline area - from Aberdour in the East to Kincardine in the West, and as far as the M90 motorway ie Kingseat and Townhill in the North. Home-visiting volunteers can reach families across the whole area and all families are welcome to come into Dunfermline for our weekly family group. We also run smaller groups from time-to-time in the villages.
