Volunteering with Night Before Christmas is a meaningful way to help some of Ayrshire’s most vulnerable children and families. It’s also an opportunity to develop and enjoy new experiences. You’ll connect with your community, meet new people, learn new skills and share what you know. All our voluntary roles are supported: people come first. We’ll give you an induction and relevant training, and you’ll always have space to raise issues. You don’t need specific skills for many of our roles. St John Scotland is looking for volunteer drivers aged between 21-80 to support our patient transport service. St John Scotland works in partnership with NHS Grampian to provide patient transport for people attending renal clinics. As a Patient Transport Driver, it will be your role to transport renal patients to and from the Renal Unit at Dr Gray's Hospital in Elgin. This service is completely free to patients. Drivers will need access to their own car and all vehicles and drivers require full insurance subject to a driving assessment and PVG.

St John Scotland is looking for volunteer drivers aged between 25-80 to support our patient transport service. St John Scotland works in partnership with NHS Fife to provide patient transport for people attending renal clinics. As a Patient Transport Driver, it will be your role to transport renal patients to and from the Renal Unit at Queen Margaret Hospital in Dunfermline or Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy. This service is completely free to patients. Drivers will need to collect a St John Scotland vehicle before collecting and dropping off the patient(s) and drivers are subject to a driving assessment and PVG.
