  • VO100892

Description

12th Kilmarnock Boys' Brigade are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help lead a wide range of activities for their children and young people aged between 5 and 18 years old. The group meets on Thursday evenings during term-time, taking part in a wide range of activities including crafts, games, sports, cooking, life skills and community projects. As a Christian youth organisation our work is rooted in the Christian faith. Our faith in young people allows them to learn, grow and discover in a safe, fun and inclusive environment.
Our volunteers receive ongoing training and support throughout their time with us, learning and developing skills alongside our young people. A rewarding experience for everyone involved that leaves lasting memories for both young person and leaders alike.

Organisation aims and objectives

We are one of the biggest Christian Youth Organisations in the UK & Republic of Ireland. We have faith in young people and provide opportunities for children and young people to learn, grow and discover in a safe, fun and caring environment which is rooted in the Christian faith. There’s something for every young person whether it’s camping or kayaking, first aid or five a side, music or crafts. Members develop skills, build confidence, make friends, take responsibility and are encouraged to make a real difference in their communities – sharing the values that make us who we are. Our work with children and young people is made possible thanks to our volunteer leaders who give of their time so generously.
