You will need to have a good command of the English language and be willing to adapt to our house style. If you have pre-existing experience, that's great. If not, we will train you. You can do this job from your home and how much you choose to take on is up to you. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to develop new skills, take training courses, access our library of educational materials and build up your network, as well as helping to support ethical journalism in Scotland and bring people news they would otherwise miss. Do you want to be part of a growing organisation which aims to improve the wellbeing and mental health of adults aged 16+ in the Aberdeen area? Our aims are to promote the provision of cognitive behavioural therapy, counselling and EMDR services, to develop the links between nutrition and mental and physical wellbeing and to promote opportunities for learning about food and its links to a healthy lifestyle. We currently offer therapy sessions, growing for wellbeing groups, group cooking sessions and group therapy. Mind Store is a SCIO and obtained charitable status in 2022. Since its inception in 2019 we have supported an extensive number of people improve their wellbeing and mental health. We are looking for trustees to help guide and help to shape the organisation as it moves forward. We would like to attract someone with experience in any of these areas: mental health, nutrition, governance. Trustees: We would also be interested in strengthening our board of trustees and we are looking for individuals who have skills in fundraising, marketing, and business development. The Tall Ships Aberdeen team are looking for help to give the international crews and visitors a warm Aberdeen welcome and make the Tall Ships Festival a huge success! There is a role for everyone. -Roles: As a Tall Ships volunteer, you get to experience the event first hand. Take part in a wide variety of roles from Spectator Services, Media, Event Operations, Transport Coordinators, Liaison Officers, Crew Services, Protocol, Hospitality. Liaison Officers: We need volunteers to act as a host to the ships and their crews while they are in port. Liaison Officers are the link between the ship, the crews, the city and the entire festival.
