Description

Kinship care Provide the highest possible quality of care to children and young people in West Dunbartonshire in ways that help them sustain relationships within family and community networks.
No matter how good our services are, we can't properly support our users/community well if we don't have good organisers in the team. If this sounds like you... we would love you to consider volunteering with us for a few hours per week.
Tasks include -
Provide polite & professional communication. Provide information by responding to questions, requests & queries. Admin duties - filling, copying, printing, scanning. Draft/write letters/emails on behalf of the organisations. Ensure operation of equipment, such as printer, laminator. Organise/schedule meetings/appointments. Book conference calls/taxi/rooms. Maintain confidentiality/discretion. Maintain contact lists, maintain computers & filing lists. Develop/maintain the filing system. Develop admin systems and keep them updated.
Develop/maintain knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications and establishing networks.
So whether you are looking to use your time well, update your skills or have the chance to do something a bit new, we can offer you a warm welcome and all of the support and help you could need.
We are seeing a rise in demand for our services everyday. Having your help will allow us to be there for the people who need us. Any time you can give will make a real difference.
