We are looking to replace losing a board member due to ill health, but would ideally like to replace them with two people. From a skills audit the board would like to attract someone who has a business background who can bring support and advice in relation to social enterprise, to give advice and assistance on how we can generate our own income and be less reliant on grants, although we are at present financially secure. We would also be interested in bringing on board someone with a media background for our publicity and marketing both to support and advise on the planned re-branding of the organisation to be more inclusive, but anyone with an interest in young people and developing services in the area would be welcome. We are also in the final stages of finalising our strategic plan and this will support the direction of the organisation over the next 3 years, so this is quite an exciting time to be part of Beyond Earlston . The meetings are held in Earlston, but we travel around so that board members can see the groups in each location as well as meet with the volunteers and staff. We have our Volunteer Friendly award and offer a comprehensive induction to the organisation to ensure that we are inclusive. We are happy to meet with anyone who is interested in finding out more and ask questions from the other board members before any commitment is made.

Citymoves Dance Agency SCIO is a regional dance charity based in Aberdeen, in the North East of Scotland. Our charitable purpose is to lead positive impacts through dance. The organisation was established as an independent Scottish charity in 2015. We’re committed to making continued improvements to how we work, across all parts of the organisation. We welcome applications at any time, from individuals with a variety of skills. Experience in any one or more of the below areas would be particularly welcome: • Finance and fundraising • Knowledge of the local Aberdeen ecology • Running an arts or community organisation We welcome both new and experienced trustees from across the UK. We are interested in people who are enthusiastic about learning, and who would like to contribute to the development of dance in the North East of Scotland. *Time commitment Trustees are expected to attend the quarterly Board Meetings and one strategic away-day per year. We also have a Finance Committee who meet quarterly, and an Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Working Group. Other working groups are formed subject to need. Meetings are held on Zoom. This is a voluntary, 3-year appointment, with reasonable travel expenses covered. We also have a learning budget and are committed to supporting the development of our Trustees. Excellent support and relevant training is provided to all Board Members. Trustee training for board members is through an online onboarding process. We are looking for people who are interested in supporting young people in their journey towards adulthood where enthusiasm is more important than experience in this role. We have a variety of roles within Rowlands for our Board and we are looking for new people who have a genuine interest in young people to join our team. We are looking for volunteers of all ages and backgrounds where no board experience is necessary, with enthusiasm being more important than experience. All that you would need to do is attend board meetings once a month.

Clutter affects everyone: it affects all ages, heritages, and walks of life. Clutter Chat is seeking Board member(s) to steer the course of this recently formed charity to support those with chronic clutter and hoarding habits through self-help groups. The groups started in 2014, and we registered as a charity in 2020. Currently, we run 2 groups, one on Zoom and one in person, in partnership with a Housing Association. New Board members with experience in partnership working, mental health, social work, and fire and rescue services, would be particularly welcome, as well as those with bookkeeping skills, who would be willing to take over the role of treasurer, and those able and willing to minute our meetings. We would like to welcome people from all walks of life as the issue with clutter/hoarding can affect a wide variety of people, including neurodivergent groups.
