What does the role involve? The role of the group coordinator is to be the key contact for the volunteers in their fundraising group and to coordinate them to plan fundraising events and activities. As part of this you’ll attend events that you organise with the group and ensure that fundraising policies and procedures are followed at your events. You’ll also play a key role in building relationships with local businesses and groups, like schools, Brownies, Guides and Scouts groups and community groups, to encourage them to host their own events in support of Guide Dogs and make them aware of things like our Name a Puppy scheme. This role would be great if you have good communication and organisation skills, enjoy meeting new people and getting out and about in your local area.
