No matter how good our services are, we can't properly support our community well if we don't have good Support people in the team. If this sounds like you?... we would love you to consider volunteering with us for a few hours per week.

Bellsmyre Development Trust exists to support the residents of Bellsmyre towards engaging with, participating in and developing their local neighbourhood. We believe Bellsmyre is full of great people and great potential. We aim to bring residents and opportunities together

Our Afterschool clubs are attended by children aged between 5-7 and those aged between 8-11 as well as our boys and girls only groups.

We need someone who will set up toys and games for our afterschool youth club, someone who can assist with the tuck shop, help plan activities for the children, interact with those attending the club and use your own initiative when interacting with those children in attendance

Afterschool clubs are available from 3-5pm Monday & Wednesday and our Boys only runs on a Tuesday from 3-5pm our girls group runs on a Monday from 5-7pm

To provide a range of premises, activities and opportunities for residents aimed at alleviating poverty, improving participation and employment levels within Bellsmyre.

Kincorth Community Centre Hub Volunteers

The Kincorth Community Centre Hub has great volunteer opportunities to assist with a range of activities at the Hub. Volunteer roles include supporting our busy community cafe, which has rapidly taken off, we currently open 9.30 -2.30, but our aim is to run a breakfast and supper club, as well as have the cafe open for activities in the evening. We have a diverse community that has a lot to offer e.g.: art classes/exercise group/dance class/music lessons and we are always open to new ideas-we are more or less a blank canvass. Excellent support and relevant guidance is provided to all volunteers. Level 2 Hygiene Certificate will be offered to those who want to volunteer/cook in the café. Any other training would be reviewed and provided if proved relevant. A fantastic, enjoyable opportunity to volunteer and help make a real difference for people and the community. Festival Stagehands

Speyside Children’s Arts Festival is a one-day event filled with fantastic, creative activities for the whole family to take part in. There will be art, crafts, drumming, dance, singing and storytelling; young and old can even have a go at circus skills or try out flying on a trapeze! The festival is organised by a group of local mums who felt that it would be great to bring this kind of event to Speyside so that all the families here wouldn’t have to travel so far to take part in things. It’s completely free and the day will be held in the grounds of Aberlour House, AB38 9LD We are looking for volunteers to make this ambitious day happen - can you come and help us? Duties range from site set up, putting up tents and gazebos, decorating the site, checking attendees in, registering people for bookable sessions, directing people to activities, assisting with creative activities, car park stewarding, directing traffic, litter picking, packing down at the end of the day, taking down tents and gazebos, packing away and site clean up.

Your Love Rara Volunteers

We are a not for profit community interest organisation supporting young people and children's mental health and wellbeing. Our Volunteer roles vary from organising and hosting workshops and assisting with community fundraising projects, face painting, entertainment and supporting local charities and events. We are seeking volunteers to support our community hub learning skills such as customer service, stock taking, cashier skills, hosting and organising. We also have volunteer opportunities for our up and coming projects such as our youth group. A fantastic opportunity to be involved in exciting projects and activities which make a positive difference for children/young people’s mental health and wellbeing and the community.
