We are a social care organisation that empowers people to thrive, by delivering solutions in connected communities which focus on the needs of each individual.
At Blue Triangle, we use the power of Public, Social, and Private Partnerships (PSPP) to support young people and adults.
Whether you want to commit a few days a week, or a few hours a month, your support can make a real difference.
Use your social media skills to make a difference in people's lives by volunteering for Blue Triangle.
By volunteering for Blue Triangle you could promote the work of one of the largest homelessness and care transition organisations in Scotland and engage with our supporters via social media. We want someone to create positive, uplifting content for our social media platforms to attract new followers and keep our current supporters engaged. By attracting more followers, we will be telling more people about the great work happening in Blue Triangle and the opportunities that are available for them to get involved.
Guided by the Communications and Engagement Manager you will: -
•Curate content for all our social media platforms, gathering information and images from our services and partnerships
•Draft exciting and engaging social media copy
•Plan for key social media dates and schedule social media posts across all our platforms
•Analyse data such as well-performing posts
•Create social media assets using Canva
•Edit and upload video content, including subtitles

We are an outdoor based organisation undertaking various health initiatives for the BAME community.
We require a photographer for two purposes: 1) internal headshots for our staff and volunteers and 2) to accompany us on our walks to take photographs of the event.
The timing for the headshots session is flexible to the volunteer's schedule. The outdoor events usually take place on a Sunday from 8am-2pm. The walks are usually 1 hour from Glasgow (Loch Lomond, Stirling, Ayr). You can make their own way to the site or you're more than welcome to join us on the minibus.

Most work is desk based, that can be done at home or at our base at Peterson Park (G13 4PF)
Meeting and making presentations to people such as college lecturers and students will also be required.

The Scottish Pantry Network champions a creative model and strength-based approach to tackle food insecurity that offers a ‘shopping experience’ to individuals and their community. Pantry members are not required to explain their personal circumstances, and memberships are open to everyone in the community. The Pantry model is based on a membership system where shoppers choose their own food items. This approach is designed to be inclusive and not to differentiate and helps Pantries to be regarded as a local food outlet as opposed to a place to go for food support.
The need for providing basic support including food is increasing dramatically, as has the risk of poor mental health, social isolation, debt, relationship pressures and unemployment. TSPN members help to facilitate an effective way to provide food with dignity within local communities, helping make people’s budgets go further, and increasing community engagement and cohesion, while reducing large scale food waste.
Main Tasks:

Would you like to help take climate action to the next level? We have a new volunteer role available with our communications working groups! You would be helping for a minimum of three hours per month, which would include attending one hour meetings every fortnight with the rest of the team in addition to posting on instagram and doing work on there.
As a volunteer led organisation, our capacity to offer thorough training on communications work is limited so we would expect you to have some experience or to be adaptable. There will be some initial training on the way SCCAN operates. Our meetings are currently done online through zoom.
If interested, please drop us an email at info@sccan.scot
