Shopmobility Renfrewshire provides four sets of services to people with mobility disabilities in Renfrewshire to help them to move around and participate fully in social, economic and cultural activities.
First, we provide the free daily hire of traditional wheelchairs, powerchairs (electric wheelchairs) and electric mobility scooters. We also offer longer term hires at a low cost.
Second, we provide a repairs and maintenance service for mobility equipment.
Third, we arrange opportunities for our clients to attend exciting events and enjoy the culture and social opportunities available in Renfrewshire.
Finally, we advocate on the behalf of anyone with a mobility disability in Renfrewshire and ensure that any policy and practices of organisations take them properly into account.

We are a local charity supporting young families across Clackmannanshire who are struggling due to mental health illness, domestic abuse, disability and loneliness.
We provide a package of emotional, social, financial and practical support consisting of regular home-visiting support from a Family Support Volunteer as well as direct support from a Family Support Co-ordinator, as well as a cluster of family support groups running in Alloa, Tullibody and Tillicoultry to being families together, to encourage community engagement, positive parenting and opportunities to enjoy activities as a family unit.

Coastwatch Scotland, Irvine, is solely manned by a team of volunteers of varying skills and ages. We provide a lookout and listening station which monitors activity on the beach, the seashore, the river and the beach park to ensure the safety and the wellbeing of the public and any mariners within four mile off shore in conjunction with the HM Coastguard and the Police.

Absafe undertakes a range of work to promote safety. This includes innovative educational programmes at The Safe a purpose built, interactive village containing real life scenarios coupled with 21st century technology, with each zone specifically created to tackle a different safety issue. To provide a point of contact for people at risk or secure advice.
Rowlands – Selkirk Dry Bar Association is a youth café for the young people of Selkirk. Any young person from first year at high school until they are eighteen can become a member. Rowland’s is a young person drop in where young people can hang out in the café bar area, play pool, use the games consoles or access our computer suit in a safe environment supported by a team of adult volunteers.
The main aim of Rowland’s is to give young people a safe place to go, hang out with their friends in a safe environment , keeping young people off the streets and a diversion from risk taking activities.
Independent custody visiting is the system of approved members of the community carrying out random unannounced visitis to police stations where people are detained to ensure that their human rights are being observed and monitor their treatment and the conditions in which they are detained.
