We’re Breaking Barriers so every refugee can access meaningful employment and build a new life. We welcome refugees into meaningful employment with advice, experience and education. We believe in the power of responsible business to change society for the better through our innovative partnerships. Employment Foundation is a structured program where volunteers help clients build a strong base of employment and job-related knowledge, so they can go into the job market with confidence and increased independence. The courses focus on everything from how to build up a CV, search and apply to jobs online, to how to utilise LinkedIn. Do not worry if you do not have experience in all of these as you will receive training and support where wanted. Volunteers and clients work one-on-one to complete our employment foundations course using the provided handbooks. Each sessions lasts between 45-90 minutes, and is usually run weekly or biweekly depending on your availability.
