Current opportunities

Cornerstones TASK group allows the people we support to voice their opinions on how Cornerstone, as care provider, affects their lives. The group meets monthly to discuss possible improvements and ideas with the aim of increasing participation within our organisation by listening, and taking onboard, the views of the people we support. The group is expected to get bigger and as a result, we are looking for a dedicated volunteer to assist with the chairing of the meetings. If you are a good listener and capable and creative when it comes to typing pictorial, easy to understand minutes then we would love to hear from you. This is a perfect opportunity for a Social Work/Community Care student who can spare a few hours each month and would like to get involved in the Personalisation process of one of Scotland’s leading care providers. All reasonable travel expenses will be reimbursed and full supervision and training will be provided. For an informal discussion please contact James McQueen on tel.: 01224 256051 / e-mail: James.McQueen@cornerstone.org.uk
