The Friendship Cabin seeks dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join their Board of Directors. The Friendship Cabin is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO) It is run by Volunteers. The aim is to provide mental and physical stimulation and help to promote independence, health and well-being of participants the sessions are designed to improve the quality of life of the people who attend as well as fostering community spirit and inclusion and making people feel a valued part of a group. They are looking for Board members who share their vision and can contribute to their growth and success. Board members attend and actively participate in monthly board meetings, provide strategic direction and oversight, engage in fundraising and advocacy for the organization, serve on committees as needed.

Experience required: They are looking for individuals with experience in areas such as nonprofit management, finance, marketing, legal, etc. Strong leadership and communication skills, a commitment to the mission and values of The Friendship Cabin, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting are highly desired.
Travel details: The organisation is based in Woodside Community Hall. On street car parking is available nearby.
