About Us:
Wild & Kind is a neurodivergent-led Community Interest Company located in Bridgeton, in Glasgow’s East End.
Founded in 2017, we started as an ethical embroidery and printing studio, dedicated to empowering marginalized genders through art workshops, subsidised access to equipment, skill-building opportunities, and living wage employment.
Due to the challenges posed by the fluctuating economy, our organisation’s social mission and methodology have evolved, which led to a strategic reset in 2023. We have since transitioned away from print and embroidery services and are now focused on leveraging the skills and experience we've gained to directly support other neurodivergent creatives, third-sector workers, and social entrepreneurs. Role Overview:
We are seeking passionate individuals to join our Board of Directors as we navigate our new path forward. As a Non-Executive Director, you will play a crucial role in helping guide the strategic direction of the organisation, ensuring good governance, and helping us achieve our social aims.
As a Community Interest Company, our board of directors is entirely voluntary. Directors are needed to bring their expertise, enthusiasm, and dedication to help shape the future of our evolving organisation.
