Description

Central and West Integration Network is a charity located in Garnethill, and we provide integration support for asylum seekers, refugees, migrant workers and BAME people. Our ESOL classes are one of the pillars of our vision, helping students from all over the world to develop their English skills. Besides attending classes, we also map and refer students to local ESOL classes around their communities, and we register students in college once a year.

Our ESOL Coordinator needs help with the Admin tasks related to this project. Some of these tasks are:

  • Registering students in our ESOL classes.
  • Researching and contacting different ESOL centres around Glasgow to update our 'ESOL Map'.
  • Referring students to local community classes.
  • Registering students in college during enrolment periods.
  • Following up with students to check on their current enrolment situation.

Opportunities to help are available from Monday to Friday, from 10am to 14.30pm.
you'll have full support from our ESOL Coordinator in your role.

If you are interested please click the ‘apply’ button below (available when logged in and registered). You will then be contacted by the coordinator by email. If you have not heard back after 5 working days, the first step is to contact the organisation with the contact details provided. You could also check your junk/spam folder on your emails just in case the response is there. If that doesn’t work out then please feel free to contact Volunteer Glasgow at 0141 226 3431.
