Would you like to raise money to support local families?
Team Jak is looking for volunteers to help out with their fundraising events – hosting stalls, attending community events, placing and managing collecting cans in local businesses, and any other activities that you would like to get involved with.
As a fundraising volunteer, you will raise money to support young cancer patients and their families to have a safe place to go to explore their interests and feelings.
This role is very flexible, and volunteers can get involved with events in their own area.

Organisation aims and objectives

Team Jak Foundation provides practical, social and emotional support to children and young people age 0-25 with cancer and related illnesses, their family, friends and those bereaved.

Events will take place at irregular times and volunteers can choose which to get involved with.

Restrictions

Volunteers under 16 are welcome if accompanied by an adult.
Experience required: Volunteers should be enthusiastic and happy speaking to members of the public about Team Jak.
Travel details: Events take place across Fife and volunteers can get involved in their local area.
Minimum age: 16

Expenses paid: Yes
Expenses details: Expenses paid at 45p per mile or public transport rates.
Training details: Volunteers receive a full induction and have access to Team Jak's training programme. There will always be staff on hand for support.
