  • VO100848

Description

The child and infant immunisation team are looking for volunteers to support their flu vaccination clinics for children aged 0-5 in Midlothian. Volunteers will welcome children and families to the clinics and put them at ease by offering distractions e.g., games, stories, chat. Volunteers will also support staff to keep the area tidy.

Clinics will begin in September and tend to run until the end of November/early December. Clinics will take place in Penicuik, Danderhall, Loanhead, Newbattle and Gorebridge libraries, Woodburn Miners Club and Ikea and usually take place on Wednesday's, Thursday's or Friday's during the day. Volunteers are asked to commit to a weekly morning or afternoon session.
