Description

Brownies is aimed at girls aged 7-10 for nonstop fun, learning and adventure.

We are looking for a person/people to come and help with the 20th B Brownies Unit in Broughty Ferry. As a Unit Helper, you will be hands on with the running of a unit meeting such as setting up activities, supervising girls when undertaking activities, and helping them when they have questions or need assistance completing an activity. In the past term alone, we’ve completed a First Aid course, sowed seeds, completed a Broughty Ferry walk, visited the cinema, completed many crafts, and played countless games. You’ll discover the joy of being a unit helper – helping girls do things for the first time, encouraging teamwork, and building their confidence and self-esteem. The unit is very friendly and full of enthusiasm. You’re guaranteed to leave every unit meeting with a smile on your face!

Organisation aims and objectives

Brownies welcomes all girls from 7 to 10 years old for fun, learning and adventure. Brownies might grow plants, bake cakes, put up tents, light a fire, and go away for a fun weekend. With a helping hand from encouraging volunteers, Brownies explore their creative side, get out into the great outdoors, and start to look after themselves, others, and the world we live in.
