Avenue is looking for someone who has extensive expertise with our CRM system Charitylog, to help us navigate some improvements to data capturing processes, and crucially, help produce accurate reports.

If you know your way around Charitylog like you designed it, and you're a black-belt in Excel - We want to hear from you!!

Avenue is an Aberdeen based charity dedicated to providing comprehensive support services to families and individuals across the North-East of Scotland, with a focus on relationships, wellbeing, and children. Avenue supports people in Aberdeen City, Aberdeenshire, and Morayshire, occupying two sites with a large team offering a range of expertise.

Frequency and commitment details

Flexible times available to volunteer. All help makes a real difference and is greatly appreciated.

Restrictions

Experience required: Extensive experience with CRM data management, particularly Charitylog Extensive experience with Excel data analysis functions Good understanding of how data helps with organisational management Practical problem solving skills
Travel details: Avenue is based in Aberdeen City Centre and we think this opportunity would be best delivered from our offices, but we're flexible, and open to working around what fits best for volunteers

Expenses paid: Yes
Expenses details: As this role is predominantly digital, the volunteer can be entirely home-based and volunteer as and when they have time, if that would help with accessibility. Avenue pay reasonable out-of-pocket expenses for volunteers.
Training details: Excellent support and relevant guidance is provided to all volunteers. We will provide a broad-based induction process for volunteers that will give them a chance to get to know the organisation, and our team. For this volunteering opportunity, we really need the volunteer to bring the relevant skills and knowledge with them, but there may be opportunities for some additional training if needed. Regular volunteering catch-ups will be available throughout this volunteering opportunity

Volunteer Organiser

The Retired and Senior Volunteer Programme (RSVP) encourages and supports people aged 50+ to volunteer in their local communities. Across Stirling, Falkirk and Clackmannanshire we run 5 projects involving hundreds of volunteers. These include volunteering activities within local hospitals and primary schools, charitable knitting groups, a walking group for older people, and a community Handyperson Service. We are looking for new Volunteer Organisers who can help ensure that our groups and activities run smoothly. For example, as a Schools Volunteer Organiser you will help us to recruit new volunteers, and making sure that existing volunteers are supported and enjoying their volunteering experience. We currently have vacancies for school organisers in Stirling, Falkirk and in Clackmannanshire. Instead, if you would prefer to become a Handyperson Organiser, you will help to ensure that tasks needed by older people are "assigned" to an appropriate volunteer, and that all volunteers are supported. We currently have a vacancy for a Handyperson Organiser in Stirling and Clackmannanshire. Or perhaps you have a new idea for an activity or group, that older people could take part in? We'd love to help you set up a group and can provide all ongoing support! The volunteering hours are fully flexible and we will be able to work around your availability. FRESH Volunteers

Fresh Community Wellness is a growing grassroots charity, registered Scottish Charity Number, SC051346. We operate out of Aberdeen city, working within a (S.I.M.D) high neighbourhood to create lasting change and build a legacy for the future. Predominantly in Seaton neighbourhoods and outdoors, we work with volunteers/residents, with a salutogenic approach to community wellness.
