Description

The John Muir Trust is a leading voice for the UK's wild places. We are dedicated to the conservation, protection, and restoration of the UK's wild places, for the benefit of all.
Founded in 1983, we recently celebrated 40 years of caring for some of the finest wild places in the UK, including Ben Nevis, Schiehallion and Sandwood Bay.
We have an exciting opportunity to recruit new volunteers to help us inspire and connect people with wild places.
Key Duties include
• Greet the public and answer their enquiries
• Assist staff in recruiting new members
• Merchandise and sell shop goods
• Chat to people about the work of John Muir Trust

Restrictions

Experience required: • Excellent verbal communication skills and confident speaking to the public • Knowledge of the outdoors is desirable • Interest in wildlife/landscape conservation desirable • Willingness to learn
Travel details: Corner of Atholl road and Station road, 2 minute walk from bus and train station in Pitlochry.
Minimum age: 16
