Partners in Advocacy is seeking a dedicated Volunteer Fundraiser to play a pivotal role in our journey towards championing human rights and wellbeing across Scotland. By focusing on grants and trusts, your efforts will directly contribute to sustaining and developing our independent advocacy services for children, young people, and adults in need. This is your chance to be part of a meaningful cause, where your skills can make a significant difference in the lives of others.

Location: Enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid role, contributing from home with occasional office visits.

Hours: Commit to 3+ hours per week and make an impact that lasts a lifetime.

The Role:
Create Change: Work alongside senior managers to craft compelling funding bids to trusts and foundations, aiming to secure resources vital for high-quality advocacy support.
Research and Write: Utilise your exceptional research and writing skills to identify potential funding opportunities and articulate the importance of our work.
Collaborate for Success: Engage with our passionate team, coordinating efforts to ensure every application showcases the impact and value of advocating for those we support.
Be an Advocate: Represent Partners in Advocacy as a positive ambassador, spreading awareness and fostering connections that benefit our advocacy partners and their communities.

We Are Looking For:
Individuals aged 16+ with a zeal for human rights and wellbeing.
A background in fundraising, marketing, policy advisory, or related fields is advantageous but not essential.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, creativity, and a keen ability to organise.
Those with lived experience or a deep understanding of the sectors we support – including but not limited to independent advocacy services, children’s hearings, and support through social work or the NHS.

Travel details: This is a hybrid role where you can volunteer from home and occasionally come into the Bridgeton office. Bridgeton has a train station and many buses linking it to the city centre and east end
