Description

Lucky Ewe aims to give people with additional support needs the chance to experience farming.

Lucky Ewe are recruiting a Treasurer to monitor the financial actions of the organisation. This will include authorising bank payments and ensuring financial activities such as bookkeeping, budgeting and preparation of reports are completed in a timely way.

As Treasurer your role will be to advise the Board of Trustees on how to meet its financial responsibilities and provide financial updates to the board. The treasurer will also collaborate with professional advisers and oversee the preparation of annual accounts.

Restrictions

Experience required: Experience of bookkeeping, budgeting, numeracy and good I.T and time management skills are required. A desire to see the charity flourish whilst giving attention to detail.
Travel details: The Treasurer will normally work from home attending meetings as required in Central Cupar
Minimum age: 16

Support

Expenses paid: Yes
Expenses details: We reimburse private mileage at the rate of 45p per mile to a maximum of £15.00 per day. We reimburse public transport with evidence of a valid ticket.
Taster available: Yes
Training details: The Treasurer will meet with the outgoing Treasurer and Employed Administrator to familiarise themselves with the Microsoft Office 365 software and banking systems used in the treasurer’s role. Support will be provided in a handover period of 3months or longer if required. Ongoing training and support will be provided and their will opportunities to further training for example First Aid.
