Description

As a Trustee you will help support the strategic development of PEP to ensure that it continues to thrive and develop. Trustees will work with the manager and staff to maintain high quality services and maintain PEP's vision, mission and values.

Organisation aims and objectives

To enhance the quality of life for older people in North Edinburgh by continuing to develop services that measurably reduce isolation and which enable people and other vulnerable and isolated adults to actively participate in community life.

Trustees meet once a month for 2 hours; meetings are held in person and over Zoom. Trustees may be asked to take part in sub committees in addition to regular board meetings.

Restrictions

Experience required: We welcome people of all backgrounds and life experiences. Most important is willingness to take part in discussions, think creatively, work as a team and help make informed decisions to ensure PEP’s continued success. Full induction on the role, responsibilities, and liabilities of being a trustee will be given.

Training details: PEP, 3 West Pilton Park, Edinburgh, EH4 4EL . Training will be given on commencement of volunteering.
