We are looking for new volunteers both male and female to help to run the Beaver Colony. The Beaver Colony is part of an active Scout Group - together with Cubs (ages 8-10) ensuring a regular stream of new entrants. We meet regularly on a Wednesday evening, but also take part in various activities involving other Beaver Colonies. The main commitment needed is somebody who is going to be prepared to commit to regular attendance on a Wednesday evening: to get involved leading the youngsters.
The Aim of Scouting is to promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.
