Description

This is a great opportunity to support a Citywide Sheltered Housing Committee and keep it independent. They meet once a month on a Thursday 2pm – 4pm in the Town Centre. There are about 30 members from all over the city and they want to remain an independent group. They have a Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, Treasurer and Secretary but just unable to minute the meeting so would welcome your expertise. They are a highly motivated group of retired people who want to be part of their housing service.

The meetings are quite informal, there is always a laugh and of course tea/coffee and biscuit is provided. A great, enjoyable opportunity to help and make a positive difference. For more details please contact:

Expenses details: Expenses will be paid at the meeting and parking maybe possible especially for disabled person.
Training details: The volunteer will meet with the Tenant & Community Engagement officer and the concept of the group will be discussed – quite happy for the volunteer to come along and just meet the group.
