We are looking for enthusiastic Event Coordinators to help plan and execute community events. You will be responsible for coordinating logistics, managing volunteer teams, and liaising with partners to ensure successful events. Responsibilities: Plan and organize community events such as meet and greets, cultural festivals, and workshops. Coordinate event logistics, including venue setup and teardown. Manage volunteer teams and delegate tasks effectively. Liaise with partners and vendors to ensure smooth event execution.

Scottish Refugee Council is committed to assisting asylum seekers and refugees to settle into life in Scotland. Our Services team is responsible for meeting with asylum seekers and refugees to provide direct advice on issues such as housing, benefits and finance, education, training and volunteering opportunities. This includes projects for newly arrived asylum seeking families, people whose claims for asylum have been refused and people granted leave to remain. This volunteer role is for people who will be assisting with the Coordination of the Happy Steps Project within the Family Rights team. We are looking for volunteers who can communicate sensitively and effectively and build good relationships with families and children supported by the Family Rights team. The purpose of this volunteer role is: To help coordinate and arrange for activities for children To help asylum seeking families and support access to wider services in collaboration with case managers What will I be doing? Heartstart deliver Emergency Life Support training to members of the public. We are a partnership between the Emergency services, Third Sector organisations and the Scottish Government. An exciting opportunity to join the Under the Trees team, working in the great and beautiful outdoors whilst gaining valuable experience working with young children and young adults. You will potentially be working in all weathers and in all seasons - we can provide waterproofs! Under the Trees runs fun and educational sessions for school children in the Falkirk and Stirling areas, as well as a programme of public events for all ages, backgrounds and abilities. Events run all year round. As a Volunteer Education Assistant, there will be opportunities for you to do a range of the following: - Assist with Educational Sessions for school groups, including term-time forest schools. - Assist with sessions for the general public, including a monthly nature club for ages 0-13. - Assist with holiday play sessions and family events. - Plan and lead in activities. - Maintain resources effectively. - Keep session areas safe and tidy. - Desk-based activities in planning, creating materials and administration.
