Description

Do you want to be part of a dynamic team supporting people living with dementia? Alzheimer Scotland would love to hear from you. Their Day Care, on Thursdays and Fridays from 10.00 am - 3.30 pm, support people living with dementia to relax and enjoy themselves in the tranquil setting of our Dementia Resource Centre.

You would help their Team set up the morning refreshments and activities. After lunch, you would help set up and participate in an activity which can be anything from a quiz, a singalong or something crafty. As a volunteer you are part of this small team offering person centred, individualised support that meets the needs of each person who attends. Communicating and closely interacting within a small group setting or individually where required is a key part of this volunteer role.
