Description

Ore Valley Housing Association is the parent organisation of the wider Ore Valley group of companies. Primarily a social housing provider with over 800 homes spread across fife, we also operate a number of subsidiaries that operate in the commercial property, private rented and renewable energy sectors.

They are governed by a board of volunteers which includes tenants and professionals in various fields. They oversee strategic direction, reviews progress and advises senior management.

They are seeking new members for the board and would welcome anyone interested in joining

Restrictions

Experience required: A background in housing would be advantageous but experience in business, community activities and finance are also welcome. Beyond that - an interest in the activities undertaken by the Association.
Travel details: Meetings are held in person or online with in-person meetings held at their head office in Cardenden, 114 - 116 Station Road, KY5 OBP

Expenses details: 45p per mile
Training details: A full induction will be offered to introduce the and its activities through one-to-one with CEO, corporate support manager, Finance director, Housing Manager and Development and Asset Manager, as part of a wider plan. On-going training will be provided from various third party industry sources to support the prospective members development covering subjects such as finance, budgeting, health and safety, housing law and best practice.
