Clachworks CIC are currently looking for a volunteer to compile and submit funding applications for our Tool Library and skills workshops. Funding is needed to allow us to continue with the work that we are doing and to allow us to expand.
Responsibilities:
• Research and identify sources of funding and grants that match the company’s objectives
• Write high quality and winning funding proposals We are looking for self motivated, organised individuals with excellent written communication skills, preferably with expertise in submitting funding applications, to local and national government and other organisations who may advertise funds that we may make applications to.
You are able to volunteer from home and as the time required for this opportunity can vary a degree of flexibility is required to meet required deadlines for applications.
A volunteer bookkeeper is currently being sought by GRACE. We run a number of fundraising events throughout the year as well as funding which comes from a variety of sources. A bookkeeper is required to keep track of the funds and ensure that restricted and unrestricted funds are allocated accordingly. Experience of SAGE would be essential
Volunteers should;
Foster a supportive and encouraging environment; welcoming people to the group, facilitating social interactions through discussions and offering a listening ear.
Offer digital support to those attending the group, as well as offering advice and support on issues such as CV writing, health and well-being, filling out online forms etc.
Help with the set-up and clean-up of the group, arriving on time in order to do so.
Alert staff of any concerns.
Tuesdays from 10.30 to 12.30pm.
Volunteers are needed to help in our community garden. We have gardening tasks for all abilities,with days and hours to suit volunteers. Duties may vary depending on the time of year, but can include digging, weeding, watering, potting and propagation of seeds and veg. We are a very friendly team who are always ready to welcome new volunteers. Help and support will always be offered.
Do you enjoy meeting people and some time to spare? Volunteers are needed to assist the cafe team in the day to day running of the cafe kitchen and front of house. Tasks will include serving customers, taking customer orders, ensuring the tables and surrounding area is clean and tidy, and preparing food and drinks. We are always happy to welcome new volunteers, and we will provide training and support.

COOKING VOLUNTEERS

At our organisation, we host two types of social food events that you can be a part of:
● Social Lunches and Community Food Events: As a volunteer, you would assist our staff in preparing delicious meals and ensuring everyone has a great time during our social lunches and other community food events. Your presence and culinary skills will help create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere.
● Cooking Skills Classes: We also conduct cooking skills classes where participants can learn to cook using the food we grow in our community gardens. Your role would involve supporting and supervising participants as they explore new recipes and techniques. Rest assured, there will always be a trained staff member available to assist you.

Narture CIC is looking for Bakery Assistants for their Sourdough Bakery in Ayr. If you are interested in gaining customer service skills and learning about baking this could be the ideal opportunity for you. Tasks will include:
- Serving customers in the bakery
- Providing information about the products and making recommendations
- Cash handling
- Displaying products
As a community interest company we value volunteers and their support really means a lot to us. We are looking for Delivery Drivers to assist us with delivery to our wholesale clients. You must have a full clean driving licence and be aged over 30.
In exchange for your time and energy volunteering with us, we can offer the opportunity to improve employability skills and give you driving experience. We offer references after you have volunteered with us for several months.
As a community interest company we value volunteers and their support really means a lot to us. We are looking for volunteers to manage our social media. Tasks will include:
- Creating engaging social media posts to grow our followers
- Day to day running of our social media content on Tik Tok, Instagram and Facebook
- Assisting with marketing for the organisation
Some of this role can be done at home but volunteers must be able to visit our bakery, cafe and studio to create content.
