Volunteer to host or co-host a radio show on Caithness FM- Training given in the form of shadowing existing volunteers. This Radio Station is based in Thurso Caithness. It operates from 6.30pm daily with additional broadcasting at weekends. Do you have time to commit to hosting a regular weekly Radio Show? good communication skills and friendly personality?
Woodcraft Folk are looking for group leaders and helpers for our Leith group for children and young people from 6 to 16 . The group meets one evening a week in term time but may organise day trips and camps in school holidays.
Our groups aim to develop children and young people's confidence and awareness of the world. We promote big ideas like equality, co-operation and environmental sustainability through fun activities.
We do a wide range of activities including games, craft, exploring nature, bushcraft, drama, discussions and songs. As well as weekly group nights we take part in day events and camps with groups from across Scotland.

A childrens charity for children with a parent serving or ex service personnel in the Royal Navy, Royal Marines Reserves or Royal Fleet Auxilliary. Many children experience long time separation from their parent(s). The charity has developed story books which helps younger children understand and manage their emotions. The book is sent to children along side 2 knitted rabbits/penguin with faces on their tummies smile/frown to help them express how they are feeling. Patterns available.
