Volunteers are responsible for meeting and greeting the children on arrival in the school dining area, directing children to the toast and cereal station, taking time to engage and build a rapport with the children and helping with the tidy up. Breakfast clubs have been shown to benefit children by providing the opportunity to eat a healthy breakfast, develop social skills, play with friends, and prepare for their day at school.
