Being a Volunteer Walk Leader for Walk it is both rewarding and fun. You’ll keep fit, meet new people and give something back to your local community. Health walks are social, short, safe, local and low-level. Our walks are suitable for people who are wishing to become more active and those who want to meet new people.
Maybe you are already part of a walking group and want to develop your skills, or maybe you would like to start a new group in your area. Perhaps you and your friends want to learn how to safely take people on a led walk or you’re a group of mums with buggies who are looking to keep fit on a regular basis.
Training is free and can be delivered at a time that suits your family and work commitments. You will be requested to lead a minimum of 10 walks in exchange.
