To provide outdoor activities and outdoor education programmes to young people in Moray.
Bike Revolution are looking for those who live and breathe biking, be it throwing themselves down the sides of mountains, touring the length and breadth of the country, or jumping into some lycra and treading the tarmac. We are looking for people who have a knowledge of how bikes work, who are keen to get their hands dirty recycling, refurbishing and repairing the bikes we get donated, up to a standard ready for resale. In return, we can offer the opportunity to learn from our experienced mechanics, as well as trade deals on bike parts and cycling kit.
The mechanic role in Bike Revolution presents a great opportunity to increase your understanding of bikes, how they work and how to keep them in good working condition. A successful and proven bike recycling project, Bike Revolution takes bikes that are either in disrepair or just unused, and refurbishes them for re-sale ensuring they meet strict in house quality standards.
Volunteers will work alongside a team of highly trained and experienced bike mechanics, gaining quality experience from our professional team.
Outfit Moray are looking for volunteer community fundraisers who are keen to help us raise funds to continue our work with local vulnerable and disadvantaged young people, their families and their communities. The role will involve increasing contributions of individuals and groups to Outfit Moray by building relationships and exploring new fundraising opportunities from various sources, including inspiring new supporters, organising traditional activities, and developing new fundraising activities, as well as raising awareness of the charity.
Volunteer fundraisers will work alongside our Community and Corporate Fundraiser. We are fully flexible on the number of hours you volunteer per month – just let us know what you can do and when.
A core area of Outfit Moray’s operation, this role is to assist our instructors and activity leaders in delivering outdoor learning through a number of different activity areas.
One of the most varied areas of our organisation, this roles offers the chance to be involved in a number of outdoor learning programmes, from Bushcraft and Forest schools with Earthtime, through to any number of outdoor activities as part of our core learning and adventure programmes.
Respite Break Assistants:
As part of a new venture in how we offer outdoor learning and adventure opportunities for young people, Outfit Moray runs week-long residential programmes designed to offer respite breaks for children from vulnerable backgrounds in the Moray area.
And many, many more roles!
