Key Responsibilities: • Attend and actively participate in regular council meetings. • Represent the interests and concerns of local residents. • Engage with community members to gather feedback and ideas. • Collaborate with fellow councillors to develop and implement community projects. • Liaise with local authorities and organisations to advocate for community needs. • Contribute to sub-committees and working groups as required. • Assist in organizing and promoting community events and activities. • Stay informed about local issues, policies, and developments affecting the community

: We are seeking a highly organised and motivated individual to join our team as a Volunteer Secretary. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our council meetings and administrative tasks. As the Secretary, you will be responsible for maintaining records, preparing agendas, and supporting communication within the council and the community. Key Responsibilities: • Prepare and distribute agendas, minutes, and other relevant documents for council meetings. • Attend council meetings, take accurate minutes, and ensure timely distribution. • Maintain and update council records and files, both electronic and hard copy. • Assist in organising community events and initiatives. • Handle correspondence and communications on behalf of the council. • Coordinate with council members to ensure follow-up on action items. • Provide general administrative support to the council as needed.
