Our Falkirk Donation Centre is due to open at the end of July 2024! The opening of this new space is an exciting opportunity for us to continue to support and fundraise for the work that the Salvation Army does across Scotland and the UK. For the running of this new, large shop we are seeking support from retail and customer service volunteers, including: - Sales Assistants, involving customer service on our shop floor - eBay Listers, involving the cataloguing and listing of specific items - Jewellery Specialists, involving valuing and assessing relevant donations Together, our volunteers are vital for the day-to-day operations of our centres, allowing us to take donations, sort stock and prepare the shop floor so that we can provide our customers with an excellent shopping experience. This could be the role for you if you enjoy meeting new people, have an interest in retail or display or just want to support a great cause! Our Falkirk Donation Centre opened at the end of July 2024! We are seeking volunteers to accompany our drivers as they are out and about around Falkirk collecting stock. This will include going to people's addresses to record, collect and then load stock into our van and unload into storage. This will all take place with the support of a staff member.
