(1) To manage, maintain and improve the Cardrona Village Common Parts. (2 To manage the Cardrona Village Hall and Green for the use of all the residents of Cardrona and its environs. (3) To organise and promote any other community-based activity which improve the conditions of life for the community and/or promote community participation.


Current opportunities

Helping to run a monthly community lunch aiming to combat isolation and build community connections in Cardrona and surrounding area. Assist with set-up – setting out tables/chairs/crockery. Either help with service and making people feel welcome – taking food orders and taking food to tables. OR Help in the kitchen – washing up. Assist with clear-up – clearing tables, putting tables/chairs away, washing up.

Are you passionate about supporting your community? Do you enjoy being part of vibrant events and making a difference? We need YOU! As an Event Helper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Cardrona community events. Your support in setting up, assisting during the event, and packing up afterward will help create a memorable and successful experience for all attendees. Key Responsibilities: Setup: Assist with setting up tents, tables, chairs, and other event infrastructure. Help with decorating the venue, including signage and displays. Ensure all equipment is arranged according to the event plan. During the Event: Provide general assistance and support to event organizers and attendees. Monitor the event area to ensure cleanliness and order. Respond to any immediate needs or issues that arise. Pack-up: Dismantle and pack away all equipment, decorations, and signage. Assist with loading equipment and supplies into transport vehicles. Ensure the venue is left clean and tidy. What You’ll Gain: Community Engagement: Meet new people and connect with your community.
