Current opportunities

Scouting is all about helping young people build their skills, have fun, experience adventure and make friends and memories. We’re currently looking for volunteers to help lead our Tuesday Cub Scout Pack. No experience of Scouting? No problem! You don’t need to be Bear Grylls to be a Scout Leader! We’ll provide all the training and support you need. We help volunteers get the most out of their experiences at Scouts by providing flexible opportunities and support as part of a team of like-minded individuals. Our approach focuses on what you want to get out of volunteering with Scouts, while respecting how much time you can offer. And volunteering goes both ways. There are big benefits for you too – boosting your self confidence, building on your skills, meeting people, contributing to your community, making friends, feeling great and having a laugh. You can make a difference and ‘feel good’ at the same time! Like the sound of this? We look forward to explaining more about what’s involved! Please contact volunteer.nbscouts@gmail.com .

You’ll be volunteering in a friendly team to share the running of the Beaver Scout Colony, helping to plan and deliver sessions and doing some behind-the-scenes admin to keep everything running smoothly.
