PlayPeace offers services and activities in partnership with parents and interested bodies, to support families with children who additional needs in a whole family context, b: Being welcoming, inclusive and removing barriers to participation, involving PlayPeace families in all aspects of the services and activities offered.


Current opportunities

We are a parent led organisation hoping to become a charity this year. We are currently seeking a Volunteer Events Officer to join us. Key Requirements • Planning suitable events for PlayPeace families including Christmas and Halloween parties • Liaising with venues and bus companies etc to enquire about suitability and negotiate discount where possible • Working with the Social Media/Comms Officer to ensure all events are advertised

We are a parent led organisation hoping to become a charity this year. We are currently seeking a Volunteer Treasurer to join us. Key Requirements • Checking all weekly fees paid directly into PlayPeace account and reconcile against attendance sheets • Ensuring all invoices are correct an paid on time • Maintaining income and expenditure for audit purposes and creating a financial report for the AGM • Producing reports as required for the Committee • Managing different funding streams and recording transactions in a timely manner

Key Requirements • Keeping our Facebook page up to date with fresh content • Ensuring all communications reflect the organisation’s values • Assisting with the creation of End of Year Reports for funders • Submitting case studies for the annual report
