Group Support Volunteers will help lead each group by welcoming members, setting group rules and enforcing them. They can promote activities and involvement, liaising with special guests and following up afterwards. They may be expected to give advice, information and/or support to service users. This may include one-to-one support. No qualifications are needed for this role as full training will be given although a background in support roles or previous group facilitation would be beneficial. A strong outgoing personality is recommended for this role as you will be expected to approach and engage with service users. We will be hosting our 4inclusion group on a monthly basis, and hope to commence an LGBT+ Games Group. Both will be held in locations in Elgin.
